Burglary, Fraud, Assault, More: Haverford Crime Blotter
Police said two safes were broken into and jewelry, sliver, and credit cards were stolen in a burglary on the 800 block of Buck Lane.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued two weeks' worth of crime blotter incidents recently.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between Nov. 8 and Nov. 20.
The blotter also features arrests made and citations issued.

- Attempted Motor Vehicle Theft at the 2200 block of Bryn Mawr Avenue Nov. 8 at 7:39 a.m. – Vehicle window was shattered and damage was observed to the steering column.
- Criminal Mischief at Veterans Field, unit block of W. Manoa Road, on Nov. 8 at 9:43 a.m. – Graffiti was reported.
- Identity Theft at the 1400 block of Burmont Road on Nov. 8 at 3:53 p.m. – Victim reported that someone opened a credit card account using her identity.
- Retail Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Nov. 8 at 12:47 p.m. – A woman placed a Kitchen Aid mixer, two Ninja air fryers and a Ninja Pro duo in her shopping cart and proceeded to customer service to make a return. She received a store credit valued at $566.43.
- Theft at Bryn Mawr Extended Care, 900 block of E. Railroad Avenue, on Nov. 9 at 7:28 p.m. – Victim reported that someone removed $50 from her Resident Fund Account.
- Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road0 on Nov. 10 at 1:08 p.m. – An unknown male stole $858 worth of merchandise.
- Theft at the unit block of Colonial Road on Nov. 10 at 9:26 p.m. – Victim reported that someone attempted to make a purchase for $6,399.78 with her credit card.
- Simple Assault at Wynnewood Lanes, 2200 block of Haverford Road, on Nov. 11 at 9:54 p.m. – An employee was assaulted by five males after she confiscated their alcohol.
- Attempted Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Nov. 11 at 4:29 p.m. – Two juveniles attempted to steal $6.50 worth of merchandise. They returned the items when they were confronted.
- Identity Theft at the 100 block of Harding Avenue on Nov. 12 at 12:53 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to open a T-Mobile account.
- Theft at the 2700 block of Belmont Avenue on Nov. 12 at 3:52 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered – loose change was stolen.
- Theft at Llanerch Country Club, 900 block of West Chester Pike, on Nov. 12 at 12:13 a.m. – Two unidentified males gained entry into the men’s locker room and stole a box of cigars and a pair of shoes.
- Criminal Mischief at Veterans Field, 1000 block of Darby Road, on Nov. 14 at 7:28 p.m. – Significant damage was discovered to the restroom sink and pipes.
- Identity Theft at the 100 block of Oxford Hill Lane on Nov. 14 at 2:06 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to receive medical care at CHOP.
- Theft at Sunoco, 400 block of E. Township Line Road, on Nov. 15 at 2:35 p.m. – The Supervisor reported that an employee stole merchandise and money from the cash register.
- Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Nov. 15 at 2:56 p.m. – A woman failed to scan $141.56 worth of groceries while checking out.
- Disorderly Conduct at the 2300 block of Haverford Road on Nov. 16 at 8:59 a.m. – 22-year-old male, 200 block of Lippincott Avenue was cited for disorderly conduct. Retail
- Theft at Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on Nov. 17 at 1637 hours – An unknown female stole $3,243.60 merchandise. Loss Prevention Officer was able to recover the merchandise.
- Burglary at the 800 block of Buck Lane on Nov. 18 at 8:29 p.m. – Entry was gained by climbing onto the second floor porch and breaking a window. The majority of the second floor was ransacked. Two safes were broken into. Credit cards and a large quantity of jewelry and silver were stolen.
- Fraud at the 100 block of Golfview Road on Nov. 19 at 1:37 p.m. – Victim reported multiple unauthorized purchases made with her credit cards.
- Theft at The Quadrangle, 3300 block of Darby Road, on Nov. 19 at 10:07 a.m. – The tires from a vehicle were stolen.
- Motor Vehicle Theft at Bryn Mawr Extended Care, 900 block of Railroad Avenue, on Nov. 20 at 11:37 p.m.
- Theft at the 200 block of Morgan Avenue on Nov. 20 at 10:06 p.m. – Victim reported that his lawn mower was stolen from his front lawn.
ARRESTS
- 22-year-old male, 200 block of Lippincott Avenue, Ardmore. Charges: Corruption of Morals of a minor, indecent exposure, open lewdness and disorderly conduct. Location: Elwell Park, 700 block of Ardmore Avenue. Date: Nov. 20 at 10:50 a.m.
- 36-year-old male, 2900 block of Kensington Avenue, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest. Location: Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Nov. 21 at 3:05 p.m.
- 29-year-old male, 6000 block of Alma Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Theft by unlawful taking, forgery, receiving stolen property and identity theft. Location: WSFS, 1200 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Nov. 21 at 2:22 p.m.
