Burn Ban Instated In Haverford Township
The ban applies to all outdoor fires, including fireworks, recreational fire pits, chimneys, and any wood-burning appliances.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — A burn ban is now effective in Haverford Township.
Haverford Police said the ban went into effect Saturday at 4:30 pm. and will be in place through Dec. 2.
Authorities said the ban applies to all outdoor fires, including fireworks, recreational fire pits, chimneys, and any wood-burning appliances.

"This action helps protect our community’s health and safety by reducing fire risks during the dry season," police said.
