2026 Marks the 250th Anniversary of America. In Haverford Township we are celebrating the semiquincentennial milestone with a series of FREE festivals.
The signature event, ILLUMINATION 250, will take place Saturday, August 29th at the Haverford High School Football Stadium with a Spectacular Lighted Choregraphed Drone Show after a day of Live Music, dancing, children’s activities, crafters, food trucks and more.

Curious about new technology but not sure where to start? Wayne Senior Center invites the community to its first-ever Community Tech Fair on Wednesday, May 13, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 108 Station Road, Wayne.
This free event is designed to make technology approachable, practical, and fun for all ages. Visitors can explore interactive tables, live demonstrations, community resources, and short presentations featuring technology that can support everyday life, creativity, health, and independence.
Topics and demonstrations will include:

Mark Schultz began playing banjo and guitar in the early 60’s during the folk era. He was drawn to the energy and authenticity of bluegrass and devoted himself to mastering the 5 string banjo. Since that time he has played with too many bands to count, and has branched out into many other genres.Phillygrass, a project rooted in Bluegrass tradition and shaped by the intensity of Philadelphia’s music scene.
