Car, Train Collide In Delaware County: SEPTA
The Media-Wawa regional rail line is temporarily suspended after the collision, which reportedly injured two people in the vehicle.
DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — A car and SEPTA train collided Wednesday in Delaware County.
According to SEPTA, the collision occurred at about 1:40 p.m. near the Fernwood station in Lansdowne.
NBC10 reports a Media-Wawa line train was heading into Philadelphia when it struck a vehicle trying to cross the tracks.

Two people in the vehicle were injured, the outlet reports.
SEPTA said service is temporarily suspended on the line.

"First responders are on the scene and will determine when service can resume," SEPTA said. "Inbound train #3224 will operate with delays of up to 30 minutes."
