Children Shot At Delaware County Park Thursday Night

Three kids whose ages were not released were shot Thursday night at a park in Yeadon Community Park, according to police.

YEADON BOROUGH, PA — Three children were shot Thursday night at a Delaware County park, according to local police and news reports.

Yeadon Borough Police said the shooting occurred at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday in Yeadon Community Park.

Police said the young people, whose ages were not released, were shot.

The shooting is believed to have stemmed from an argument at the park's basketball court, police said.

A youth league was playing at the court and finished their time there, but police said people who were not part of the league and league members remained to shoot around.

Eventually, an argument broke out and shots were fired, police said.

Two victims were released from the hospital, while one other is still being cared for.
