Citizens Bank celebrates new branch at Havertown GIANT

HAVERTOWN, PA - Citizens Bank will hold a grand opening on Saturday, May 13th, to celebrate its new branch inside the Havertown GIANT Food store located at 116 West Township Line Road, in Havertown.

Citizens Bank and GIANT have a longstanding relationship that offers customers access to 57 bank branches or ATMs right where they shop. Citizens opened GIANT branches this year in Langhorne and Brookhaven. This is the sixth branch opened with GIANT since 2014.

The celebration will occur from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and features activities for both children and adults. Citizens Bank customers and the general public are invited to attend the celebration. In addition to the ribbon cutting ceremony at noon, activities will include refreshments, face painting, a balloon artist, and $5 GIANT gift cards for customers using the ATM or learning about the Citizens mobile app.

Citizens Bank will also make a donation to Family Promise of Delaware County. Family Promise is an interfaith hospitality organization that helps homeless families achieve lasting independence.

This new supermarket branch is designed to provide customer convenience using a blend of personal service and user-friendly technology. The branch provides full-service banking seven days a week, including private offices which enable bankers to deliver tailored advice, ideas and solutions to help customers reach their financial goals. It will also feature an enhanced ATM so customers can deposit checks and cash without needing envelopes and deposit slips.

The branch is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
