Cooking Fun at Summer Academy

Learn to make great breakfasts, put together yummy appetizers, cook favorite comfort foods, and bake tasty treats during Summer Academy 2014, July 7-31, Mondays through Thursdays, at Haverford Middle School. Most classes are for students ages 10 and up, but a few are offered for younger students. New this summer: 


  • folktales & fairytales for 6 and 7-year-olds
  • cooking and conversation for special-needs learners ages 9-11
  • yoga for 6 to 8-year-olds
  • plus Harry Potter
  • LEGO engineering
  • fashion design
  • more robotics

Summer Academy courses are open to all children who meet age requirements for each class. Summer Academy is sponsored by the HTSD Education Foundation.
