Darby Creek Road Closing Through June 30 For PECO Work

During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Lawrence Road, Ellis Road, Ardmore Avenue, Darby Road, and Marple Road in Haverford.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Darby Creek Road in Haverford Township will be closed weekdays for about a month for PECO work, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, the road will be closed Monday through Friday starting May 23 and ending Thursday, June 30.

The closure will be between Marple and Lawrence roads.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
