Darby Creek Road Closing Weekdays Through Early August In Haverford

During the closure, Darby Creek Road drivers will be directed to use Lawrence Road, Ellis Road, Ardmore Avenue, Darby Road, and Marple Road.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Darby Creek Road in Haverford Township is closing through early August for PECO work, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, the road will close weekdays from July 5 through Friday, Aug. 5.

The road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The affected portion of road is between Marple and Lawrence roads.

During the closure, Darby Creek Road drivers will be directed to use Lawrence Road, Ellis Road, Ardmore Avenue, Darby Road, and Marple Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
