Delco Man Found Guilty Of Killing Son's Mother, Grandmother In NJ
Junior Edwards smashed through a window and shot both victims while his son, 8, was present, authorities said.

WILLINGBORO, NJ — A Delaware County man was found guilty Thursday of murdering his son's mother and grandmother during a home invasion in New Jersey.
Junior Edwards, 39, of Lansdowne, was accused of breaking into a home in Willingboro, New Jersey, and fatally shooting two women in an upstairs bedroom.
An 8-year-old boy — the son of Edwards and one of the women killed — was inside the home during the shootings, according to the Burlington County (NJ) Prosecutor's Office.

A jury found Edwards guilty of two counts of first-degree murder, two counts of first-degree armed home invasion burglary, second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, and several second-degree weapons counts.
Willingboro Police were called around 4 a.m. on Oct. 30, 2024, for a home burglary in progress. In the upstairs bedroom, arriving officers found the bodies of Catherine Nunez, 33, and her mother, Marisol Nunez, 54. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

The first-floor window had been smashed open, authorities said.
Further investigation revealed that Edwards and Catherine Nunez shared a son, who was inside the home during the shooting, prosecutors said. The child was not hurt.
Edwards's listed attorney wasn't immediately available for comment.
Sentencing is set for May 22.
