On Aug. 2, investigators watched Lancit place items into her locker at the facility, then lock the locker.

Using a spare key, investigators opened the locker and found three large sheets of paper, which authorities said was suspected K2.

A field test of the paper confirmed it was the synthetic marijuana.

Lancit was taken into custody on Aug. 2.

"I appreciate the tireless efforts of Warden Laura Williams and her staff to partner with my office to do all we can to keep contraband out of our county jail," District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer said.

Lancit was arraigned Aug. 2 released after posting 10 percent of $25,000 bail.

Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 10, court records show.
