Delco's Most Wanted: Wali El Failed To Appear For Gun Trial

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Authorities in Delaware County are searching for one of their most wanted fugitives and are asking for help locating him.

The Delaware County Sheriff's Office said Wali El, also known as Robert Thompson, 45, is wanted for failing to appear for a firearm charge trial.

El was charged in April 2019 with illegal firearm possession, court records show.

He was released in February 2020 after posting $75,000 bail.

His trial was scheduled for Dec. 6, according to court records. But authorities said he did not appear for the trial.

El 6 feet tall and weighs 195 pounds. He has brown eyes and is bald.

Authorities said he is in the Darby area.
