Delivery Driver Robbed At Gunpoint In Drexel Hill: Haverford Police
Police said the armed robbery occurred Sunday night when a fake food delivery order was placed and the driver was accosted at gunpoint.
DREXEL HILL, PA — A man armed with a long gun with a scope robbed a food delivery driver Sunday in Drexel Hill, Haverford Township Police said.
The incident occurred at about 7:42 p.m. on the 200 block of Friendship Drive in Drexel Hill.
According to police, the driver was making a delivery when he was approached by a man holding a long barreled gun with a scope.

The man told the victim to lay on the ground, then at gunpoint took the victim’s shoes, cell phone, wallet and the food he was delivering.
Police said the man also stole the victim’s silver 2010 Toyota RAV4 with Pennsylvania registration reading HMV6941.

The food delivery order was bogus and was made with the intent to rob the victim, police said.
Police said the suspect as a 6-foot-tall black male who was wearing a black jacket and a ski mask.
