Dognapping Incidents Reported Along Main Line
Warning to pet owners: dogs along the Main Line have been disappearing in dognapping incidents, CBS Philly reports.

Warnings have been issued for residents along the Main Line after reports of dogs "disappearing" are now being linked to an attempted dognapping incident caught on camera, according to a report by CBS Philly.
Resident Sumanth Joseph has home surveillance video that shows two people in a Honda CRV stealing trying to steal his dog in Ardmore, he told the network.
"They started pulling him through the front of the car. By the time I came up to the front, they had half of him already on the front center console," he told CBS Philly.

The couple reportedly told Joseph that they thought it was their neighbor's dog, however, after seeing signs around town warning residents of potential dognappings, he became suspicious. The signs read "Protect Your Dog Now" and say a couple is taking dogs from front yards.
