Drive-Thru Coronavirus Testing Offered In Delco This Week

Delaware County officials said a location in Darby will be offering coronavirus testing this week with no out-of-pocket or co-pay costs.

DARBY, PA — More coronavirus testing is being offering via drive-thru this week in Delaware County.

Delaware County officials said testing will take place Monday through Friday at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby. Details on testing is included below.

Testing this week, as with previous weeks, will be available for insured and uninsured individuals 12 years of age or older who live or work in Delaware County and have COVID-19 symptoms, were exposed to COVID-19, or are considered critical/essential workers.

Those who have health insurance and are going to be tested are asked to please bring their insurance cards to the test site. Testing does not have any out-of-pocket costs or co-pays, however.

Masks or face coverings must be worn for those getting tested.

Results typically take four to seven days to come back. Those with a positive test result may be called by the Chester County Health Department Disease Investigation team to complete an investigation.

  • Monday — 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday — 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday — 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Thursday — 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Friday — 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Testing will not be conducted at the US Army Reserve in Upland during this week.
