HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — The School District of Haverford Township is now closed Friday.
The district Friday morning said it would be closing its schools and offices due to Friday's forecast, which is calling for a "flash freeze."
Students were initially set to be dismissed early Friday, but the district changed Friday's plan after the National Weather Service said the forecast could create hazardous conditions.
