ESF Camps Offers A Dad A Chance to Play Ball

Contest Will Provide A Lucky Dad A Partial Scholarship To Phillies Phantasy Camp

A lucky dad will win a chance to talk baseball strategy with Charlie Manuel and share a locker near Phillies legends Greg Luzinski and John Kruk as part of an ESF Camps and Programs contest.

ESF is asking for essays of 150 words or less “Why Dad Should Be At Phillies Phantasy Camp.” One winner will receive a $2500 partial scholarship to Phantasy Camp as a player.

The contest is open from 12:01 am Father’s Day, June 18 to 11:59 pm July 9. To submit an essay and original photo and rules visit www.philliesphantasycamp.com and tap on the Father’s Day Contest tab. ESF and Phillies staff will judge entries for originality and creativity. A winner will be announced on or before July 30, 2017.

“We hope this becomes the ultimate Father’s Day gift for a deserving dad,” said ESF Co-founder and Executive Director Michael Rouse.

Phillies Phantasy Camp is January 17 to January 21, 2018 at the Carpenter Complex in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Participants can attend as a player and compete with and against former Phillies players or as a general manager and manage a team, including reviewing scouting reports and doing a postgame interview.
