Billy Lake ALS Basketball Marathon

The Billy Lake ALS Basketball Marathon is all-day, all-basketball event which raises funds for research into ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease.  All players welcome!
People and teams of all ages and abilities sign up to play a full-court game of hoops with other players of similar ages and ability. Games are played on the hour from 9 a.m. through 5 p.m. in Haverford College's beautiful Calvin Gooding athletic center.   The donation to play is $20 per player or $200 per team.
Phil Martelli, Fran Dunphy, and several other local coaches, news and sports celebrities will be on hand to play in the 11 a.m. "celebrity" game.  Other games feature middle school kids, over-40 leagues, 20-something leagues, AAU teams, co-ed leagues, etc. etc.  There are still many time slots available!
You can register a whole team, or you can register as an individual, and we will try to place you.  You would need to specify your age level, sex, ability level.  You can register online via www.billylake.com or by emailing BillyLakeALS@verizon.net
Spectators are most welcome!  There are raffles, auctions, refreshments, and great games to view all day long.
Come out and have a good time, and help fight ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.)
