Surrey at Havertown is presenting an Art Series in May to help older artists to stretch and take their art to a new level. Watercolorist and Surrey member Lawrence K. Meyers will share tips, techniques and suggestions arrived at through years of experience composing, exhibiting and selling his own artwork.
In this informative program Larry will talk about thumbnail sketches, golden spiral, rule of thirds and center of interest as well as the importance of framing. This presentation is targeted to artists 55+ working in any medium—hobbyists, amateurs and budding professionals. Larry is a watercolorist who has been painting since 1982. His works have been accepted in juried exhibitions and his artwor has been on tour across the country.
