Family Garden Totem Workshop

Bring the family to create a collaborative garden sculpture out of clay.  Inspired by ancient totem poles, tell your own family story using basic handbuilding techniques to carve, shape and build.  Create pieces that will be stacked on a metal post to become your whole family totem.  Make a self-portrait, abstract head, or any design to represent your own family legend.  The next week we meet to colorfully decorate our garden totem with glaze.
