Norwegian painter, Gerhard Meling, returns to the United States for the first time in over twenty years. As one of today’s most respected European artists, Meling’s work is featured in such prominent and varied collections as that of, HM Queen Elizabeth II, United Kingdom, HM King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, Bhutan, HM King Abdullah II, Jordan, The Playboy Mansion West, USA, The Vallobra Museum d’art, Brussels and Paris and many more. He has won numerous awards, including the prestigious Depute´Republique de Montmatre, Knight of the Societe d’Encouragement au Progress, and the Palmes d’Or du Merite Belgo-Hispanic.
Having shown with Dali, Delvaux, Bernard Buffet and others in his first showing and championed by international art critic Vallobra, Meling’s paintings are most noted for the joyful use of color and dancing lines.
