Sendak Book Discussion Series

Registration begins Monday, February 27

Join us for this four-part book discussion that will focus on exhibit themes such as: Sendak's experience as a child growing up in NY, the push and pull of New and Old Worlds in Sendak's work, his fascination with the shtetl world of European Jews, his use of fairy tales to tell bigger stories, and his own processing of the Holocaust.

This program is open to adults and high school students.

The series will be facilitated by Temple professor, Dr. Anne Horn.

Program Fee: $20.  Participants will receive five Sendak books. 

Participants must register for the series in person at the reference desk at The Haverford Township Free Library.
