
A program highlighting baseball history and the Athletic Base Ball Club of Philadelphia will be presented at the Haverford Township Free Library on Sunday, September 25 at 2:00 pm.
Members of the Athletic Base Ball Club of Philadelphia, established in 1859 and re-formed in 2009, will be on hand to talk about what baseball was like in the 19th century. Learn about the1864 rules the club played and still plays by, uniforms and equipment, and the history of the club.
