Join us for this music and storytelling program developed and performed by Susan Leviton and Ken Ulansey.
The library will swell with the traditional sounds of Yiddish song and the Klezmer clarinet as patrons of all ages discover songs and stories which will bring Maurice Sendak's childhood neighborhood, family, and influences on his unforgettable characters into new focus. Susan Leviton, renowned Yiddish singer and storyteller will have props on hand for youngsters' participation, and translations will make every song fully accessible.
