These theories bridged with Yoga Practice create a powerful yet practical approach to create health, balance and vitality in the female reproductive system.

In this four-week series, Nicole Fugo, Acupuncturist and Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200), will combine these two healing traditions leading you on a healing path to optimum health in the female body. During this series, Nicole will lead you on an in-depth exploration of pranayama (breath work), mantra (sacred sounds), kriyas (cleansing practices) and asanas (yoga postures) which have been used for thousands of years to balance the system. As the intense effects of medications and surgeries are becoming more recognized, many people come to yoga and acupuncture as an alternative to Western Treatments such as surgery. However, many women have also found these practices quite effective as partner treatments, reducing side effects and creating balance (such as with In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Hormone Therapy, etc.).
In this yoga practice we will focus on tonifying the yin meridians (Kidney, Spleen & Liver) and clearing any stagnation standing in the way of optimum health and harmony.
