Ex Delco Park Police Officer Hit With Child Sex Crime Charges
According to a news report, the accused is a former Delaware County Park police officer and emergency services dispatcher.
UPPER DARBY, PA — An Delaware County man, reportedly a former county park police officer and emergency services dispatcher, has been charged with numerous crimes related to child rape.
William Thomas McGrath IV, 30, of Upper Darby, was charged recently with 20 counts each of rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, statutory sexual assault, and indecent assault of a person less than 13 years old.
The Delaware County Daily Times reports a criminal affidavit states the victim told investigators McGrath sexually abused her repeatedly at a local daycare.

The victim, who is a teen now, attended the daycare from about 6 weeks old until she was 5 or 6 years old, according to the outlet.
McGrath was freed after posting 10 percent of $75,000 bail and is scheduled for an Oct. 17 preliminary hearing, court records show.
