Fire Breaks Out In Haverford Home's Attic Monday

No one was hurt in the fire, which started in the attic of a Haverford home Monday afternoon, according to fire officials.

HAVERFORD, PA — A fire broke out in the attic of a home in Haverford Monday afternoon, according to the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore.

The fire company said crews were called to a home Cheswold Hill Run in Haverford at about 3:16 p.m. Monday.

Crews used a ladder to access the home's attic and were able to get the fire under control in about 20 minutes and crews remained on scene for about an hour and a half.

No one was injured.

Emergency response crews from Gladwyne, Bryn Mawr, Belmont Hills, Penn Wynne, Narberth Ambulance and Bala Cynwyd all assisted at the scene, the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore said.
