Foundation For Delaware County Awards $1.4M In Grants
Grant funding is going toward children's health and well-being, hospice and home care, food security, and more.
DELAWRE COUNTY, PA — The Foundation for Delaware County has awarded more than $1.4 million to 51 area nonprofits.
The fourth major round of grant making supported numerous efforts to improve the community.
Grants were awarded in the following areas:

- Children's Health and Well-Being: $774,853
- Community and Economic Development: $235,000
- Food Security: $236,500
- Hospice and Home Care: $66,000
- Cancer: $22,500
- Second-Year Payments to 2021 Impact Grantees: $369,435
"We are thrilled to award more than $1.4M to 51 deserving organizations providing critical services in Delaware County," said Frances Sheehan, foundation president. “The nonprofits that received grants will address some of Delaware County's most critical issues, including behavioral health, childhood trauma, maternal health, education, food security, housing stability, and the environment."
