Police said a resident had jewelry and personal items, including personal and legal documents, stolen sometime over the last three years.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township released details on crime incidents that occurred in late April.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between April 24 and April 30.

The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

  • Theft at the unit block of E. Park Road on April 24 at 3:08 p.m. – Vehicle was entered – loose change was stolen.
  • Retail Theft at Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on April 25 at 5:07 p.m. – An unknown female stole candy and sushi.
  • Identity Theft at the 2100 block of Darby Creek Road on April 26 at 7:06 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to open a Verizon account.
  • Theft at West Gate Hills Rehabilitation, 2000 block of Old West Chester Pike, on April 26 at 4:01 p.m. – Victim reported $4,000 worth of jewelry, $1,000 worth of personal items including personal and legal documents were stolen sometime over the past three years.
  • Criminal Mischief at the unit block of W. Marthart Avenue on April 27 at 12:33 p.m. – Victim reported that both of his chrome headlight washers were broken off of his vehicle.
  • Theft at the 1700 block of Hawthorne Avenue on April 28 at 12:02 p.m. – The victim reported that she hired two males to seal coat and repair her driveway. She paid for the work before it was completed and has not been able to get in contact with them since.
  • Theft at Westgate Hills Rehab & Nursing Center, 2000 block of Old West Chester Pike, on April 29 at 10:28 a.m. – Victim reported a purse containing $40 was stolen.
  • Fraud at Haverford Hills Condominiums, 400 block of Glendale Road, on April 30 at 2:41 p.m. – Seven unauthorized purchases were made with the victim’s debit card.

  • 40-year-old male, 500 block of 55th Street, Brooklyn NY. Charges: Identity Theft. Location: Citizens Bank, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: April 25 at 1:13 p.m.
  • 32-year-old male, 300 block of Manhattan Avenue, New York. Charges: Forgery, theft by deception, criminal attempt, bad checks, access device is counterfeit, tampered with records, false identification to law enforcement and evading arrest. Location: TD Bank, 100 block of W. Eagle Road. Date: April 24 at 11:04 a.m.
  • 26-year-old male, 5400 block of Larchwood Avenue, Philadelphia. Charges: Careless driving, suspended driver’s license, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: West Chester Pike and Glendale Road. Date: April 25 at 10:27 a.m.
  • 36-year-old male, 200 block of Morris Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: Rite Aid, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: April 29 at 9:26 a.m.
