HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued the latest crime blotter recently.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Jan. 10 and Jan. 16.

The blotter also features arrests made and citations issued.

  • Criminal Mischief at the 100 block of West Township Line Road on Jan. 10 at 7:38 p.m. – Vehicle was egged.
  • Identity Theft at the 1700 block of Josie Lane on Jan. 10 at 3:12 p.m. – Victim reported that someone attempted to open a credit card account using his identity.
  • Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Jan. 10 at 5:33 p.m. – An unknown male stole a total of $3,491.27 worth of groceries on five separate occasions.
  • Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Jan. 10 at 9:24 p.m. – An unknown female stole $185 worth of groceries.
  • Criminal Mischief at Llanerch Country Club, 900 block of West Chester Pike, on Jan. 11 at 7:31 p.m. – Victim discovered three puncture marks in her vehicle tire.
  • Fraud at the 1900 block of Lawrence Road on Jan. 11 at 5:45 p.m. – Victim reported that she had to renew her Xfinity contract and googled the phone number for customer service. She spoke to an unknown man, and he advised her she needed to pay her current bill in the amount of $236 in order to proceed. She provided him with her credit card information. She later discovered that the transaction was fraudulent.
  • Identity Theft at the 1200 block of Darby Road on Jan. 12 at 5:38 p.m. – An unknown actor used the victim’s identity to open a credit card account.
  • Criminal Mischief at the 1100 block of Darby Road on Jan. 13 at 10:58 p.m. – A group of juvenile males opened the victim’s storm door and kicked his door.
  • Fraud at the 300 block of W. Lancaster Avenue on Jan. 15 at 10:59 a.m. – Victim reported that a counterfeit check was attempted to be drawn on the company’s account.
  • Identity Theft at the 1100 block of Edgewood Drive on Jan. 15 at 11:36 a.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to open an Automobile insurance policy.
  • Identity Theft at the 2300 block of Bryn Mawr Avenue on Jan. 16 at 5:56 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to open a travel insurance policy

  • 22-year-old male, 4100 block of Florence Boulevard, Omaha, Nebraska. Charges: Theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Location: Game Stop, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Jan. 12 at 1:13 p.m.
