Authorities ID Girl, 8, Killed In Drive-By Shooting At Delco Football Game

SHARON HILL, PA — A young girl is dead and two other juveniles are hurt following a drive-by shooting at a Delaware County football game over the weekend, according to authorities and reports.

Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer said Friday's shooting in Sharon Hill took the life of 8-year-old Fanta Bility.

The shooting occurred at about 9 p.m. Friday at Academy Park High School on Calcon Hook Road in Sharon Hill, Action News reports.

According to the outlet, Academy Park had just finished a game against Pennsbury High School when shots were fired.

Fox News report that two other juveniles — one of whom was the deceased girl's 12-year-old sister — were also wounded.

The DA's office said as of Monday afternoon, no one is in custody.

The DA's office said part of the investigation into the shooting includes the police discharge of weapons following initial shots fired by civilians in the area surrounding the football stadium.

"On Friday night, a terrible tragedy occurred – the senseless death of eight-year-old Fanta Bility" Stollsteimer said. "Our thoughts and prayers remain with her family and friends at this most difficult time."
