Gun, Drugs Found On Student At Delco High School: Reports

Upper Darby High School was locked down Tuesday after a student was found with a gun and drugs, according to reports and authorities.

UPPER DARBY, PA — A Delaware County High School was locked down Tuesday after a student was found in possession of a firearm and drugs.

Upper Darby Police said an alert teacher at Upper Darby High School noticed one of their students was "impaired."

The student was removed from the class and searched, which led school officials to find marijuana and a loaded handgun on the student, according to Action News.

The Delaware County Daily Times reports the school went into lockdown at 11:15 a.m. as a result of the discovery.

No one was hurt in the incident, according to Fox 29.
