Haverford Blood Drives Set For June 13 And June 15
Donors can enter to win a trip to two amusement parks: Cedar Point in Ohio or Knott's Berry Farm in California.

HAVERTOWN, PA – The American Red Cross has two planned blood drives heading to Haverford Township in mid June and donors can enter to win a trip to one of two amusement parks in Ohio and California. Donors can also get discounted tickets to certain amusement parks across the country.
The first drive will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 13 at the Llanerch Fire Company, 107 West Chester Pike.
The other drive will be held from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 15 at Haverford Area YMCA, 891 N. Eagle Road.

Donors looking to give blood on June 13 can sign up for time slots online here. Options to donate Power Red, which collects the red cells but returns most of the plasma and platelets to the donor, are available for that date.

After giving blood, donors can then visit the Red Cross website to enter to win one of three grand prize packages for four to Knott’s Berry Farm in California or Cedar Point in Ohio.
Even if you don't win the grand prize, you can still get discounted tickets to amusement parks owned by Cedar Fair, including Dorney Park in nearby Allentown.
Just visit Cedar Fair's website here and click on the amusement park of your choice for discounted tickets. $2 from each ticket purchased goes right back to the Red Cross.
