Haverford College 'Worth Every Penny,' Forbes Says

HAVERFORD, PA – Haverford College found itself on a list from Forbes that weighs the cost of college to its benefits.

In Forbes' "25 Most Expensive Colleges Worth Every Penny," Haverford was listed at No. 15.

The finance magazine lists the college's average annual net price at $18,853.

Forbes says the students who attend schools on the list graduate on time and make higher post-graduation earnings than other schools.

Located just off the Main Line, Haverford College boasts more than 2,000 courses, 70 percent of alumni attend graduate school in five years after graduating, and gives more than 50 percent of its students some form of a grant.

Haverford, founded in 1833, is also No. 19 in Forbes' Top College Rank list and No. 40 on Forbes Overall Best Value Rank list.
