Haverford CREC Celebrating 10 Years With Week Of Programming
June 13 to June 18, there will be free access to fitness classes, the walking track, drop-in basketball, the fitness center, and more.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Haverford Township's Community Recreation & Environmental Center is gearing up to host 10-year anniversary celebrations next week.
From Monday, June 13 to Saturday, June 18, the CREC is offering various activities, including free fitness classes, volleyball, and more.
Throughout the week, there will be free access to fitness classes, the walking track, drop-in basketball, the fitness center, fitness class drop-ins, and bring-a-friend.

Additionally, various programs and activities — including fitness center passes, pickleball passes, and more — will be offered at a half-price discount.
These must be purchased between June 13 and June 18 to get the discount.

During the week, the CREC is hosting a slew of events and activities, including 2 Ball Shooting Competition for ages 9 to 11 and 12 to 14.
Below is the schedule of events:
Tuesday
- 2 Ball Shooting competition, Ages 9-11 & 12-14 — 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- 10th Anniversary Presentation — 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Facepainting — 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Wednesday
- Pickleball FREE open play — 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Volleyball FREE open play — 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Guided hike at Haverford Reserve
Saturday
30-minute sample classes of:
- Barre Fitness — 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Mindfulness Meditation with Eileen McAndrews — 10:30 a.m.
- Pilates Fusion with Adrianne Cerceo-Leo — 11 a.m.
- Zumba with Ivori Campbell — 11:30 a.m.
- Zumba Gold with Elizabeth Luff — noon
- Balance and Agility with Jackie O’Doherty — 12:30 p.m.
Saturday will also feature the 10th Anniversary Celebration event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will feature prizes, t-shirts, refreshments, and more.
