Haverford Crime Blotter: 15 Thefts, 4 Burglaries, More
Police were very busy handling theft cases in the last week, as police reported 15 thefts and numerous other theft related cases. More here.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – The latest Haverford Township Police crime blotter is out, and it shows just how busy police were in the last week.
Police handled 15 theft cases, four burglaries, a stolen vehicle, vandalism, and fraud, as well as various other theft-related cases. All between Sept. 12 and Sept. 18.

INCIDENTS:
- Theft at the 200 block of Rodmor Road on Sept. 12 at 9:45 a.m. – Vehicle was entered, laptop and loose change was stolen.
- Theft at the unit block of E. Manoa Road on Sept. 12 at 3:30 p.m. – Vehicle was entered, a backpack containing a driver’s license, debit card and medication was stolen.
- Theft at the 100 block of N. Lexington Avenue on Sept. 12 at 12:27 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, loose change was stolen.
- Theft at the 200 block of N. Ormond Avenue on Sept. 12 at 2:31 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, loose change was stolen.
- Vandalism at the unit block of Lincoln Avenue on Sept. 12 at 7:29 a.m. – Storm door was damaged.
- Vandalism at the 1600 block of E. Darby Road on Sept. 12 at 8:59 a.m. – Vehicle window was smashed.
- Burglary at the 800 block of Beechwood Road on Sept. 13 at 8:43 p.m. – Forced entry was gained through the master bedroom window. It is unknown what was removed from the residence at this time.
- Fraud at the 900 block of Railroad Avenue on Sept. 13 at 9:14 a.m. – Victim reported that he recently lost his debit card and $600 in unauthorized charges were made with the card.
- Burglary at the unit block of N. Lexington Avenue on Sept. 14 at 12:15 p.m. – Victim reported that golf clubs were stolen from his attached garage.
- Burglary at the Head Nut, 2400 block of Haverford Road, on Sept. 14 at 1:05 a.m. – Entry was gained through the office door. It is unknown what was taken at this time.
- A series of thefts was also reported to have occurred over the past 30 days. The total of the thefts was approximately $18,000.
- Theft at the 300 block of Oxford Road on Sept. 14 at 8:51 a.m. – Vehicle was entered, laptop, iPad, phone chargers, battery packs, backpack and loose change was stolen.
- Theft at the 1500 block of Delmont Avenue on Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, $300 was stolen.
- Theft at the unit block of E. Mercer Road on Sept. 14 at 5:03 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, backpack containing a laptop was stolen.
- Theft at the unit block of W. Hillcrest Avenue on Sept. 14 at 7:35 p.m. – Vehicle was entered, tools were stolen.
- Theft at the 2800 block of E. County Line Road on Sept. 14 at 1:55 p.m. – Vehicle registration plate was stolen.
- Identity Theft at the 200 block of Glendale Road on Sept. 14 at 9:26 p.m. – Victim reported that two credit card accounts were opened using his identity without his permission or knowledge.
- Theft at the 100 block of E. Westwood Park Drive on Sept. 15 at 3:32 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, driver’s license, US military identification, several credit cards and $5 was stolen.
- Theft at the 500 block of Andover Road on Sept. 16 at 8:48 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, a wallet, iPod and approximately $500 was stolen.
- Theft at the 300 block of Ardmore Avenue on Sept. 16 at 11:57 a.m. – Three unlocked vehicles were entered, loose change was stolen.
- Theft at James Drive and Steel Road on Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. – Street sign was stolen.
- Attempted Theft at the 500 block of Andover Road on Sept. 16 at 8:48 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, nothing was reported missing.
- Attempted Theft at the unit block of Cambridge Avenue on Sept. 16 at 9:45 a.m. – Two unlocked vehicles were entered, nothing was reported missing.
- Attempted Theft at the unit block of Cambridge Avenue on Sept. 16 at 10:41 a.m. – Two unlocked vehicles were entered, nothing was reported missing.
- Theft at the unit block of Cambridge Avenue on Sept. 16 at 12:09 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, loose change was stolen.
- Attempted Theft at the unit block of Tunbridge Lane on Sept. 16 at 1:07 p.m. – Three unlocked vehicles were entered, nothing was reported missing.
- Attempted Theft at the 300 block of Exeter Road on Sept. 16 at 2:11 p.m. – Three unlocked vehicles were entered, nothing was reported missing.
- Burglary at the 1200 block of Steel Road on Sept. 17 at 6:46 p.m. – Forced entry was gained through the basement window by a person known to the residence owner. Nothing was reported missing.
- Theft at the 100 block of Glen Arbor Road on Sept. 17 at 1:21 p.m. – Vehicle was entered, approximately $200 in change was stolen.
- Theft at the 500 block of Country Club Lane on Sept. 17 at 1:05 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, phone charger was stolen.
- Motor Vehicle Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Sept. 17 at 5 p.m.
- Identity Theft at the 700 block of Aubrey Avenue on Sept. 17 at 3:48 p.m. – Victim reported that an unknown person opened a Target credit card using her identity and made approximately $3,000 in purchases.
- Criminal Mischief at the 1300 block of Lawrence Road on Sept. 17 at 8:25 a.m. – Victim reported that zip ties on a roof rack were cut.
- Theft at Sunoco, 400 block of E. Township Line Road, on Sept. 18 at 9:41 p.m. – An employee was arrested for stealing lottery tickets and $140 from the cash register.

- White male, 35, unit block of Holbrook Road, Havertown. Charges: Resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. Location: 700 block of Ashurst Road. Date: Sept. 12 at 1:09 p.m.
- White female, 28, 1700 block of Belvedere Avenue, Havertown. Charges: DUI and careless driving. Location: 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Sept. 14 at 11:31 p.m.
- White male, 20, 1500 block of Hilltop Road, Downingtown. Charges: Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Sept. 16 at 10:42 p.m.
- White female, 42, unit block of Bala Avenue, Bala Cynwyd. Charges: Retail theft. Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Sept. 16 at 7:51 p.m.
- Black male, 42, 1900 block of Carter Road, Folcroft. Charges: Receiving stolen property and retail theft. Location: Sunoco, 400 block of E. Township Line Road. Date: Sept. 18 at 9:41 p.m.
- White male, 27, 7000 block of Brentwood Road, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Sept. 18 at 11:36 a.m.
- Black male, 50, 1700 block of S. 21st Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft and receiving stolen property. Location: Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: Sept. 18 at 6:37 p.m., incident occurred on Sept. 18.
- White female, 15 was petitioned to juvenile court. Charges: Indecent assault, indecent assault without consent, indecent assault forcible compulsion. Location: 600 block of Malvern Road. Date: Aug. 23 at 2:22 p.m.
- White male, 15 was petitioned to juvenile court. Charges: Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: 200 block of Edgehill Road. Date: Sept. 13 at 7:16 a.m.
- White male, 15 was petitioned to juvenile court. Charges: Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and criminal trespass. Location: 200 block of Edgehill Road. Date: Sept. 13 at 7:16 a.m.
