Haverford Crime Blotter: Assault, DUI, Theft, Vandalism, More

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued their weekly crime blotter Thursday.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Nov. 24 and Nov. 30.

The blotter also features arrests made and citations issued.

INCIDENTS

• Identity Theft at the unit block of Claremont Boulevard on Nov. 24 at 10:26 a.m. – Victim reported that someone attempted to open a credit card account using his identity.
• Criminal Mischief at the 100 block of Myrtle Avenue on Nov. 25 at 1:18 a.m. – Christmas lights were damaged.
• Public Drunkenness at the 1100 block of East Darby Road on Nov. 25 at 3:27 a.m. – 22-year-old male, 2400 block of David Drive was cited for public drunkenness.
• Identity Theft at the 2100 block of Bellemead Avenue on Nov. 26 at 11:23 a.m. – Victim reported that someone used her Medicare benefits for over $44,000 worth of treatment.
• Identity Theft at the 400 block of Heatherwood Road on Nov. 26 at 12:33 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to fraudulently withdraw $4,000 from her bank account.
• Criminal Mischief at the unit block of Decatur Road on Nov. 27 at 10:15 a.m. – Vehicle tire was slashed.
• Criminal Mischief at the Skatium, 1000 block of Darby Road, on Nov. 27 at 7:51 p.m. – Vehicle was egged.
• Theft at the YMCA, 800 block of North Eagle Road, on Nov. 29 at 3:57 p.m. – Vehicle window was shattered and a purse was stolen.
• Theft at Bryn Mawr Extended Care, 900 block of Railroad Avenue, on Nov. 29 at 12:24 a.m. – Prescription medication was reported missing.
• Fraud at the 800 block of Powdermill Lane on Nov. 29 at 12:02 p.m. – Victim reported that someone altered a check that she had mailed and cashed it.
• Motor Vehicle Theft at U-Haul, unit block of East Township Line Road, on Nov. 30 at 1:46 p.m.

ARRESTS

• 53-year-old female, 100 block of Flintlock Road, Havertown. Charges: DUI, driving without a license and careless driving. Location: West Township Line Road and North Drexel Avenue. Date: Nov. 20 at 5:43 p.m.
• 35-year-old male, 300 block of Golf Hills Road, Havertown. Charges: DUI and disregard traffic lane. Location: 600 block of Lakeside Avenue. Date: Nov. 24 at 4:38 p.m.
• 23-year-old male, 200 block of 30th Street, Manhattan, New York. Charges: Simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. Location: unit block of Cedarbrook Road. Date: Nov. 25 at 4:49 a.m.
• 39-year-old female, 100 block of East Marthart, Havertown. Charges: Simple assault. Location: 100 block of Sycamore Road. Date: Nov. 30 at 10:24 p.m.
