Police said a woman was defrauded of nearly $4,000 when her credit card was fraudulently charged hundreds of dollars in Australia.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued the most recent crime blotter, and the details are below.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between July 8 and July 14.

INCIDENTS

  • Fraud at the 800 block of Martin Avenue on July 8 at 12:57 p.m. – Victim reported that someone made multiple unauthorized charges with her debit card.
  • Theft at the 200 block of Greenbriar Lane on July 9 at 4:15 p.m. – A package was stolen after it was delivered.
  • Identity Theft at the 1600 block of Ridgeway Road on July 9 at 10:12 a.m. – Someone used the victim’s identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Theft at the 1600 block of Lawrence Road on July 10 at 4:19 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered – wallet was stolen.
  • Identity Theft at the 200 block of Greenbriar Road on July 10 at 1:42 p.m. – Someone used the victim’s identity to open an AT&T account and purchase two i-pads.
  • Fraud at the 800 block of Ardmore Avenue on July 10 at 11:14 p.m. – Victim reported that her credit card was fraudulently charged $3,988 in Australia.
  • Identity Theft at the 600 block of Ardmore Avenue on July 10 at 10:15 a.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Theft at the 1700 block of Ridgeway Road on July 11 at 10:48 a.m. – Prescription medication was stolen after it was delivered.
  • Criminal Mischief at the 2300 block of Belvedere Avenue on July 11 at 6:29 p.m. – Vehicle window was shattered.
  • Attempted Retail Theft at Acme, 600 block of West Lancaster Avenue, on July 12 at 6:50 p.m. – An unknown male exited the store with two cases of Red Bull. The suspect left the Red Bull on the sidewalk when he was approached and fled.
  • Criminal Mischief at Manoa School, 200 block of Manoa Road, on July 12 at 11:42 a.m. – Two screens were removed from the windows.
  • Criminal Mischief at the 700 block of North Eagle Road on July 12 at 12:08 a.m. – Political sign was knocked down.
  • Fraud at the 2900 block of Oakford Road on July 13 at 7:56 a.m. – Victim reported multiple unauthorized purchases were made with her credit card.
  • Public Drunkenness at the unit block of Woodbine Road on July 14 at 11:30 a.m. – 34-year-old male, 600 block of Naylors Run Road, was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
