Haverford Crime Blotter: Identity Theft, Stolen Vehicle, More

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township have issued their weekly crime blotter Wednesday.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Jan. 13 and Jan. 18.

The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

INCIDENTS:

• Theft in the 1000 block of Parkview Drive on Jan. 13 at 7:51 a.m. – A locked storage room was entered; approximately $2,000 worth of tools was stolen.
• Theft on Foster Avenue on Jan. 13 at 3:14 a.m. – vehicles entered; cleared by arrest.
• Theft in the 100 block of Juniper Road on Jan. 13 at 11:03 a.m. – vehicle was entered; cleared by arrest.
• Motor Vehicle Thefts in the 400 block of West Langhorne Avenue on Jan. 13 at 6 p.m.
• Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on Jan. 14 at 8:24 a.m. – An unknown male stole $2,119.61 worth of power tools.
• Bicycle Theft at Pagano’s, 1200 block of West Township Line Road, on Jan. 14 at 3:47 p.m.
• Fraud in the unit block of Kathmere Road on Jan. 14 at 12:22 p.m. – Victim reported an unauthorized charge was made with her credit card.
• Theft in the 1800 block of Robinson Avenue on Jan. 15 at 2:38 p.m. – a tablet was taken from the home; investigation is ongoing.
• Identity Theft in the unit block of Scarlet Oak Drive on Jan. 16 at 2:37 p.m. – an unknown person opened a Verizon wireless in her name.
• Public Drunkenness in the 300 block of Brookline Boulevard on Jan. 17 at 2:43 p.m. – 53-year-old male, 400 block of Strathmore Road, Havertown was cited.
• Criminal Mischief a Robinson and Fairmont Roads on Jan. 18 at 12:16 p.m. – the stop sign at the above intersection was covered with stickers.

ARRESTS:

• 15-year-old male was petitioned to juvenile court. Charges: Theft from a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, loitering, and prowling at night. Location: 100 block of Foster Avenue. Date: Jan. 13 at 3:14 a.m.
• 15-year-old female was petitioned to juvenile court. Charges: Theft from a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, loitering, and prowling at night, possessing instrument of crime. Location: 100 block of Foster Avenue. Date: Jan. 13 at 3:14 a.m.
• 18-year-old male, 7100 block of Radbourne Road, Upper Darby. Charges: Theft from a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, loitering, and prowling at night. Location: 100 block of Foster Avenue. Date: Jan. 13 at 3:14 a.m.
• 38-year-old male, unit block of Arbour Court, Norristown. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Location: 7-Eleven, 2600 block of Haverford Road. Date: Jan. 14 at 5:14 p.m.
• 36-year-old male, 400 block of Rittenhouse Circle, Havertown. Charges: Simple Assault and Harassment. Location: 400 block of Rittenhouse Circle. Date: Jan. 15 at 11:35 p.m.
• 30-year-old male, 700 block of Belair Circle, Norristown. Charges: Possession with intent to deliver, Possession of marijuana, Possession of controlled substance, DUI. Location: 1200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Jan. 17 at 3:47 a.m.
