Haverford Crime Blotter: Robbery, Trespassing, Theft, Fraud, More
A woman was tackled on Ardmore Avenue and her attacker stole her Louis Vuitton bag containing an iPhone, credit cards, and $1,500.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued their weekly crime blotter Thursday.
Incidents in the blotter occurred between May 25 and May 31.
The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

- Theft at Giant, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on May 25 at 10:24 a.m. – Victim reported that her wallet was stolen from her purse while she shopped. $2,756.76 worth of unauthorized purchases were made with the credit cards.
- Robbery at the 700 block of Ardmore Avenue on May 26 at 5:21 a.m. – An unknown female tackled the victim to the ground and stole her Louis Vuitton bag. The purse contained an iPhone, credit cards and $1,500.
- Fraud at the 100 block of W. Clearfield Road on May 26 at 11:50 a.m. – A check was altered and cashed.
- Fraud at the 500 block of Furlong Avenue on May 26 at 1:29 p.m. – Victim reported that two of her Visa cards were compromised. Multiple unauthorized purchases were made.
- Theft at LabCorp, 900 block of Haverford Road, on May 27 at 11:20 a.m. – An employee reported that her cell phone was stolen from a patient room.
- Fraud at the 300 block of Fairlamb Avenue on May 27 at 2:36 p.m. – Victim reported that someone altered a check after she mailed it and attempted to cash it.
- Identity Theft at the 1300 block of Rose Tree Lane on May 27 at 9:32 a.m. – Someone used the victim’s identity to open a credit card account.
- Identity Theft at the 100 block of North Eagle Road on May 27 at 12:26 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits. Identity
- Theft at the 700 block of East Manoa Road on May 28 at 12:31 p.m. - An unknown person opened a credit card account using his identity.
- Retail Theft at Verizon, 600 block of West Chester Pike, on May 29 at 4:51 p.m. – Two iPhones were stolen.
- Bicycle Theft at the 700 block of Hathaway Lane on May 29 at 8:56 p.m.
- Criminal Mischief at the 2400 block of Wynnefield Drive on May 30 at 4:12 p.m. – Vehicle window was shattered.
- Fraud at the 400 block of Twin Oaks Drive on May 31 at 11:17 a.m. – A check was altered and cashed.
ARRESTS:
- 24-year-old female, 300 block of E. 24th Street, Chester. Charges: Criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: 900 block of Township Line Road. Date: May 26 at 3:51 p.m.
- 30-year-old male, 200 block of Fairview Road, Crum Lynne. Charges: Criminal trespass, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: 900 block of Township Line Road. Date: May 26 at 3:51 p.m.
- 24-year-old male, 500 block of Creek Road, Kennett Square. Charges: Operate vehicle without ignition interlock and unregistered vehicle. Location: 2500 block of Haverford Road. Date: May 30 at 10:30 p.m.
