Haverford Crime Blotter: Stolen Vehicle, Identity Theft, More

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued the weekly crime blotter Wednesday.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Jan. 12 and Jan. 18.

The blotter also includes citations issued in that time frame.

  • Theft at the 1700 block of Josie Lane on Jan. 12 at 2:42 p.m. – Victim reported $900 worth of tools stolen from his unsecured garage.
  • Motor Vehicle Theft at the 500 block of West Chester Pike on Jan. 12 at 9:38 a.m.
  • Identity Theft at the 500 block of Country Club Lane on Jan. 13 at 4:18 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Theft at Giant, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on Jan. 14 at 11:45 a.m. – Victim reported that her credit card was stolen while she was at the gas station. Several unauthorized purchases were made with the credit card.
  • Theft at the 100 block of Golf Hills Road on Jan. 14 at 4:39 p.m. – Vehicle registration plate was stolen from a vehicle.
  • Retail Theft at Wawa, 1000 block of Darby Road, on Jan. 15 at 1:28 a.m. – An employee reported that an unknown male stole approximately $50 worth of merchandise and fled the store.
  • Criminal Mischief at the 500 block of Howell Lane on Jan. 15 at 11:01 p.m. – Ring doorbell was damaged.
  • Criminal Mischief at the unit block of Manoa Road on Jan. 15 at 11:54 p.m. – Fence was damaged by a group of unknown juveniles.
  • Public Drunkenness at the unit block of Upland Road on Jan. 15 at 10:45 p.m. – 28-year-old male, unit block of Upland Road was cited for public drunkenness.
  • Fraud at the 200 block of Warrior Road on Jan. 17 at 3:23 p.m. – Victim reported that someone opened a T-Mobile account and charged $2,938.
  • Theft at the unit block of Waverly Road on Jan. 18 at 2:18 p.m. – Catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.
  • Fraud at the 400 block of Earlington Road on Jan. 18 at 7:07 p.m. – Victim reported multiple unauthorized purchases made with her credit card.
