Haverford Crime Blotter: Toilet Papering, Assault, Stolen Vehicle

Police reported two incidences of vandalism at Paddock Park, one involving toilet paper. See details on these incidents and more here.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued their latest crime blotter recently.

Incidents in the blotter occurred between Nov. 10 and Nov. 16.

The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

  • Fraud at the 1600 block of Rose Glen Road on Nov. 10 at 12:44 p.m. – An unknown person gained access to the victim’s Amazon account and made unauthorized purchases.
  • Identity Theft at the 600 block of Georges Lane on Nov. 10 at 2:04 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used his identity to file for unemployment benefits.
  • Theft at the unit block of Westview Road on Nov. 11 at 7:04 a.m. – An unknown person removed a check from the victim’s mailbox and changed the amount from $25 to $9,266. The check was cashed at an unknown location.
  • Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of West Township Line Road, on Nov. 11 at 5:54 p.m. – An unknown male stole tools and fled the store.
  • Theft at the unit block of North Concord Avenue on Nov. 12 at 9:32 a.m. – Catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.
  • Identity Theft at the 2500 block of Olcott Avenue on Nov. 12 at 11:04 a.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to open a credit card account.
  • Criminal Mischief at Paddock Park, 200 block of Hillcrest Avenue, on Nov. 13 at 10:05 a.m. – Tools that are used for the Pickle Ball court were damaged.
  • Criminal Mischief at Paddock Park, 200 block of Hillcrest Avenue, on Nov. 14 at 9:45 p.m. – Toilet paper was strew about the football field and the field goal post was pulled out of the ground.
  • Theft at McLenaghan Tires, 200 block of Darby Road, on Nov. 15 at 12:27 p.m. – Two car batteries were stolen from outside of the business.
  • Motor Vehicle Theft at U-Haul, unit block of East Township Line Road, on Nov. 15 at 2:14 p.m.
  • Vandalism at the 1900 block of Darby Road on Nov. 15 at 2:44 p.m. – A group of juveniles threw rocks at a vehicle.
  • Theft at the 300 block of Fairlamb Avenue on Nov. 16 at 2:21 p.m. – Victim reported approximately $37,000 taken out of her bank account.
  • Fraud at the 200 block of Hathaway Lane on Nov. 16 at 6:53 p.m. – Victim reported that someone used the victim’s identity to file for unemployment benefits.

ARRESTS

  • 55-year-old male, unit block of Wycombe Avenue, Lansdowne. Charges: Simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. Location: Sunoco, 1200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Nov. 5 at noon, incident occurred on Sept. 2.
  • 23-year-old male, unit block of Lynn Boulevard, Upper Darby. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance. Location: 300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Nov. 13 at 1:22 a.m.
  • 35-year-old female, 7200 block of Lamport, Upper Darby. Charges: Retail theft. Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: Nov. 15 at 5:42 p.m.
