Haverford Health Inspections: Rocky's, Hoopty's, Vida, More

The Haverford Township Health Department inspected eight establishments in the area this January. Half of them had at least one violation.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA – The Haverford Township Health Department inspected eight Haverford-Havertown establishments in January and found half of them to be in violation of at least one health code.

Hoopty's Pizza and Pasta and Rocky's Catering had the most with four violations each.

At Rocky's Jan. 24 inspection, authorities found raw beef and chicken stored together in freezer and evidence of mice in the basement and first floor of the facility.

Hoopty's was found to have a hole in its ceiling about the dough prep area and an employee sanitizing washed equipment and utensils without a separate water rinse between.

  • Vida Taqueria and BYOB – inspected Jan. 3, two violations
  • Soley's Tavern – inspected Jan. 5, no violations
  • Hangover Cafe and Caribbean Billiards – inspected Jan. 9, one violation
  • Surrey at Havertown Center – inspected Jan. 11, no violations
  • Town Tap By Conshohocken Brewing Company – inspected Jan. 22, no violations
  • Rocky's Catering – inspected Jan. 24, four violations
  • Hoopty's Pizza and Pasta – inspected Jan. 24, four violations
  • Havertown Grille – inspected Jan. 24, no violations
