Congratulations and good luck to these 453 Haverford High School graduates as they move on to the next stages in their lives.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — On June 6, 453 Fords walked across the stage, bringing their high school careers to a close.

The Haverford High School Class of 2019 featured many great accolade from its students.

  • 222 options for colleges, trade schools, the military and the workforce all across the United States;
  • 17 National Merit Scholarship semi-finalists, commended scholars and Hispanic recognition scholars in the 2018-19 scholarship program;
  • Central League and State Champions as well as school record holders in athletics;
  • 34 student-athletes, that will be playing 10 sports at 27 colleges and universities;
  • 47 percent of students participated in our award-winning music and choral programs;
  • Participated in over 100 clubs and service groups as well as raised significant amounts of money and necessities for our community.

This year's class speaker was Lauren May and Class President Patrick Lindner gave the highlights of the class.

"Be patient with folks who have different opinions and seek common ground to build upon," School Board President Larry Feinberg told the graduates. "Find avenues for public service. Be those active, informed citizens!"

Superintendent Dr. Maureen Reusche encouraged the Class of 2019 to take risks and build the relationships that will support them, and help them support others.
