Haverford High School Ranked Nationally by Newsweek

Newsweek has included Haverford High School in its latest list of the country’s top high schools.

Haverford ranked 409th on the list of more than 700 public, charter and magnet schools across the country.

Newsweek used six indicators for its ranking methodology, its Daily Beast website said, including graduation and college acceptance rates; college-level courses and exams; percentage of students with free or reduced lunch; and SAT and ACT scores.

Other area schools that made the list include Radnor High School, which came in at 96, and Marple Newtown High School, which was ranked 334.

The highest-ranked school in Pennsylvania was Unionville High School in Kennett Square, which came in at No. 66.
