Haverford High School Students Give Blood

HAVERTOWN— On Thursday, May 1, students at Haverford High lined up to donate blood.  The Student Senate sponsored the event and the American Red Cross ran it.  Students gave blood and then ate snacks to recover.

Senior Nate Frank said that he participated because, "The blood that I donated will save 3 lives.  I am happy to do that."

Senior Kyle Gaumann thinks that giving blood is a "good thing to do."  Faculty Advisor to the Student Senate, Mr. Ed Weiss expects more than 150 students to give blood.
