Haverford Hosting Senior Citizen Workshop Sept. 19

HAVERFORD, PA – Senior citizens in Haverford Township are invited to attend an informational workshop that will cover many things related to senior living, according to the township.

The senior workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 19 at the Haverford Township Community Recreation & Environmental Center, 9000 Parkview Drive, Haverford.

Those in attendance will hear about identity theft and security, Surrey Services, and Medicare.

Tax expert John Anderson will lead the identity theft and security discussion; Surrey Services CEO Robert Madonna will talk about Surrey's offerings; and Marty Spiegel of Appraise will discuss Medicare's various components, including Part A, Part B, and Part D.
