Haverford HS Collecting Donations For Hurricane Harvey Victims

The National Honors Society will buy school supplies for an affected school with your donations.

HAVERTOWN, PA – The Haverford High School National Honor Society is joining efforts to aid those affected by Hurricane Harvey, as its members are collecting monetary donations to help restock an affected school.

According to the district, NHS students have identified an elementary school devastated by Hurricane Harvey which requires rebuilding.

Using your donations, the students will purchase supplies to help get the school back on track.

The NHS students will be attending Back to School Nights where they will share information and collect donations.

  • Sept. 25, 6th Grade at 6 p.m.
  • Sept. 26, 7th Grade at 6:30 p.m.
  • Sept. 26, 8th Grade at 6:30 p.m.

Students are looking to provide basic school supplies for up to 250 students as they return to their classrooms and to donate $2000 to the adopted school as it is rebuilt.

Checks should be made payable to Haverford High School NHS. Donations to HHS are not tax deductible.
