Haverford HS Preschool Spots Available
Preschool services provided by district's Family and Consumer Science Department.
The School District of Haverford Township is offering preschool services to residents in the district as part of the family consumer science department's childhood development program.
Family and Consumer Science Department Chair Faith Irons said only eight spaces are available for the fall program as of Monday, Sept. 26. If anyone interested in enrolling a child in the preschool is unable to do so this fall, Irons said the program will start back up in February. The fall preschool runs for two hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings and afternoon from Oct. 11 to Jan. 5. at the Haverford High School.
Children accepted into the preschool must be between 3 and 4 years old, be potty trained, and live in the district. The preschool helps Irons' students see the physical, social, and emotional development in children in what Irons calls a "lab preschool."
