Haverford HS Students Competing In National Business Contest

Congratulations and good luck to Jack Ryal and Daniel Ball who are heading to Anaheim, California June 29 for the FBLA National Conference!

HAVERTOWN, PA – Two Haverford High School students are heading to Anaheim, California in two weeks where they will participate in a national business conference after earning high honors in county and state business competitions.

Jack Ryal and Daniel Ball will represent Haveford High School's Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter at the FBLA National Leadership Conference in Anaheim on June 29.

Ryal, junior member, placed first in Delaware County in Business Law, which advanced him to the FBLA state competition where he took fourth. His hard work at states earned him an invitation to the National Conference.

Daniel Ball, who is also a junior member, placed first in Delaware County in Securities & Investments which sent him to states where he took seventh. That was good enough to land a spot in the national conference.

Both Ryal and Ball will compete against top students from across the country at this summer's conference.

This marks Ryal's second invitation to the national conference, as well as Haverford's eighth year sending competitors to nationals.
